Early Years Exchange

The Early Years Exchange is an initiative from St. Nicholas IB World School with the purpose of engaging and inspiring EY educators to reflect on the power of play and inquiry for learning, and for sharing innovative practices with the educational community.

We will exchange experiences and discuss how to guide changes in education through play and inquiry-based learning.

1st option - Special Package (3 mornings):

• 17th October - Thursday - first-day visit to one of our campuses - 9.00-11.30am*
• 18th October - Friday - second-day visit to one of our campuses - 9.00-11.30am*
• 19th October - Saturday - 8.00am-1.00pm

*more information about the visits will be shared with participants closer to the event.

2nd option (Saturday morning):

A very inspiring morning debating how our learners develop their understanding in a play-based environment starting with the opening speech by Tizuko Morchida Kishimoto and followed by multiple workshops* for you to choose.

*participants will choose the workshops closer to the event.

• 19th October - Saturday - Workshops - 8.00am-1.00pm

O Early Years Exchange é uma iniciativa da Escola St. Nicholas com o objetivo de envolver e inspirar educadores de Educação Infantil a refletir sobre o poder do brincar e da investigação para a aprendizagem, e para compartilhar práticas inovadoras com a comunidade educacional.

Vamos trocar experiências e discutir como guiar mudanças na educação por meio da brincadeira e da aprendizagem baseada em investigação.

Opção 1 - Pacote Especial (3 manhãs):

• 17 de outubro - Quinta-feira - primeiro dia de visita a um dos nossas campus - 9h00-11h30*
• 18 de outubro - Sexta-feira - segunda visita a um dos nossos campus - 9h00-11h30*
• 19 de outubro - Sábado - 8h00-13h00

*Mais informações sobre as visitas serão compartilhadas com os participantes mais próximos do evento.

Segunda opção (sábado de manhã):

Uma manhã muito inspiradora debatendo como nossos alunos desenvolvem sua compreensão em um ambiente baseado em brincadeiras, começando com o discurso de abertura de Tizuko Morchida Kishimoto e seguido por múltiplas oficinas* para você escolher.

*Os participantes escolherão as oficinas mais próximas do evento.

• 19 de outubro - Sábado - Oficinas - 8h00-13h00
