[Folowing in Portuguese] Come and discover Brazilian culture and dance forró with the band Forró de Mané (Brazil), who are returning to Toronto after a year. Forró is one of the most famous and popular Brazilian social dances. Forró music has an engaging, cheerful and syncopated rhythm, with a theme related to the cultural and everyday aspects of the northeastern region of Brazil. On Saturday, June 29, Drom Taberna will host our forró night with live music played by Brazilian musicians Thiago Di Luca, Tácio Rocha, Taciano Rocha and Ju Weiss. The group Forró de Mané was created in 2022 in the city of Montreal and has been making its mark on the Canadian music scene ever since. It has been very well received by the public and has played shows in several cities and festivals since its creation. The group's monthly concerts, traditionally held at the La Sala Rossa bar in Montreal, have welcomed more than 3,000 people in 16 editions. Forró de Mané has taken part in various festivals and cultural fairs in Quebec, Ontario and Brazil. No sábado, 29 de junho, Drom Taberna vai receber nossa noite de forró com música ao vivo tocada pelos músicos brasileiros Thiago Di Luca, Tácio Rocha, Taciano Rocha e Ju Weiss. O grupo Forró de Mané foi criado em 2022 na cidade de Montreal e desde então vem se inserindo na cena musical canadense. Vem sendo muito bem recebido pelo público e já realizou shows em diversas cidades e festivais desde sua criação. Os shows mensais do grupo, realizados tradicionalmente no bar La Sala Rossa em Montreal, já receberam mais de 3000 pessoas em 16 edições. O Forró de Mané vem participando de diversos festivais e feiras culturais no estado do Quebec, em Ontário e também no Brasil.
