<h1>Pororoca Show</h1><p>The Roar of the Meeting of Waters: "POROROCA" is the Tupi word for this sound filled with energy, musicality, and transformation. Pororoca is the concert which, in five acts, draws the world's attention to the future that has arrived – and warns us that there is no future without the Amazon. The future is now.</p><p>Pororoca is an artistic and cultural initiative that represents a poetic and powerful way to raise awareness and protect the Amazon, while celebrating Brazil's cultural diversity. With a rich and diverse artistic cast representing the many faces of Brazil, the show emphasizes the importance of the Amazon region and its indigenous peoples. It also features renowned Brazilian musicians, dancers and visual artists, who act as ambassadors for this essential cause for the planet.</p><p>The "opera brasiliana" will take place in Central Park at Rumsey Playfield on September 20th, 2023, at 6:00pm, with performances by <strong>BaianaSystem, Olodum, UAPI - Amazônia Percussiva, Fafá de Belém, Carlinhos Brown, Glicéria Tupinambá, Felipe Cordeiro and Manoel Cordeiro, Aíla, Kaê Guajajara, Owerá, Jéssica Silva, DJ Méury, Djuena Tikuna, Patricia Bastos and Tiganá Santana</strong>.</p><h3><strong>Pororoca is both ancestry and the contemporary, reminding us of our essence and issuing a call: we are all water, we are all Amazon.</strong></h3><h3><strong></strong></h3><aside>By purchasing the ticket, you are aware that the show will be recorded and consequently authorize the publication of your image in material that can be used and reproduced in all media vehicles, in different ways and formats an indefinite period.</aside><aside>In case of rain, the show will not be canceled unless it is accompanied by winds above 60km/h, lightning and thunder that could endanger the physical safety of the public.</aside><h3><strong>The doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will start at 7:00pm.</strong></h3>
