About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Ages 16+
  • No venue parking

An afternoon of writing, meaningful conversation and gentle exploration of the unconscious, inspired by the archetypes of the Tarot.

With guided writing prompts and Tarot as a therapeutic tool, we’ll explore the stories we tell ourselves — and the ones we’re ready to rewrite.

Who is this for?

  • Creatives stuck in self-doubt or emotional disconnect: writers who don’t write, overthinkers, artists who’ve stopped creating or never dared to start.
  • Soul-searchers experiencing a period of transformation in Rome (Liz Gilbert’s disciples, I see you).
  • Curious minds interested in Tarot or wanting to deepen their journaling practice.
  • Anyone longing for a space of stillness and mutual understanding.

No need to know the cards or call yourself a writer (you won’t be sharing what you write). Just come as you are, with curiosity and an open heart.

Includes:
• Tarot-inspired journaling prompts
• A brief intro to the Rider-Waite Tarot and its archetypes
• All materials (pens, paper, clipboards)
• Tea and light snacks to ease us in

Contribution: €20

“The words we speak are often different from the ones we bury within. Writing is an act of excavation — what we put on paper speaks louder.”

Shall we dig?

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know anything about Tarot or be a writer to join?

Not at all. This space is for everyone—whether you're completely new to Tarot and journaling, or have been exploring for years. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to explore your inner world. I’ll guide you through everything step by step.

What exactly will we do during the event?

We’ll begin with a quick intro to Tarot and how it connects to therapeutic writing and shadow work. Each session is guided by one Tarot card. We’ll explore its meaning and symbols, then dive into writing prompts inspired by it. You’ll have space to reflect, journal, and connect with yourself.

What should I bring?

Nothing! I’ve got you covered. If you have a notebook or pen that feels like your emotional support sidekick, bring it along—but no pressure.

Organized by

I'm a Brazilian writer, language teacher, Tarot student and overthinker in recovery. My work blends storytelling, intuition, and self-inquiry — inspired by years of journaling, personal therapy, group circles, and studies in Jungian thought and creative writing. I’ve hosted writing & Tarot workshops and individual sessions in Brazil, and now I'm bringing the event to Rome. You can have a look at my last event here.
