About Your Facilitators:


Josii Yakecan: Brazilian singer and composer of medicine music, explorer of voice and sounds. Josii's music has taken her around the world with her performances, rituals and ceremonies that provide a sacred, intimate and heart-warming space for all in attendance.

Brian Rush: Scientist Emeritus, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, lead researcher for the Ayahuasca Treatment Outcome Project and co-founder of Research to Reality: A Global Summit of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Medicine. As a leader in psychedelic science, Brian is a strong advocate for the role of traditional medicine, ceremony and Indigenous voices and perspectives in this space.

Komal Bhasin: Komal is a mental health clinician and workplace diversity, equity and inclusion strategist, speaker, and executive coach. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in racial health equity and inclusion, trauma-informed workplaces, psychological safety, collective resilience and intercultural competence.

Melanie Ollenberg: Melanie brings 25 years in the health, research, and psycho-spiritual sectors. With one foot rooted in service delivery and the other in systemic change, she is Founder of the Inner Arts Collective, The Plant Mystic, and the Rosseau Sanctuary - intentional communities that promote access, collaboration, and integrity within the healing arts sector, based on the concepts of collaborative economy and ecological sustainability.
