Founded in 2020, Karen’s mission evolved into The Oldhoven. A space where ideas, leaders, and high-level events flourish.
What began as her own journey of self-discovery and renewal has grown into a calling: facilitating professionals to feel seen and valued for what they bring to the world.
Her last name carries meaning:
“Old” stands for timeless wisdom. “Hoven” is a living garden tended with care.
Together: The Old Garden is a place where your growth is rooted in heritage, skill and experience.
At the heart of The Oldhoven lies Karen’s belief in the respect of roots, cultures and discretion - the foundations of genuine leadership and trust.
Once you know what you stand for, what skills and expertise you bring to any environment and know how to express that, then everything around you will bloom. That's how simple it is.
Why Karen knows this?
Because after having a business that didn't flourish and a fear of speaking herself, she started working with a mentor in 2023 and helped her overcome her fears. In order to bloom again. Her journey brought her experience and learnings and that's why she wants to share these lessons with you. Because if she can bloom again, so can you.
