About Our Founder
The Social Edit is proudly owned and founded by Anya Ward, a Black, Queer, Woman and Creative in Grand Rapids. Anya has spent the past seven years curating beautiful social gatherings & events locally and nationally. Anya has produced a wide range of Socials, including corporate celebrations, community engagement events, and private gatherings with celebrity clientele. Anya had a desire to bring her skillset to the heart of her community in Grand Rapids, to create beautiful, liberating social spaces that affirm and celebrate BIPOC & Queer community in Grand Rapids. This vision is realized through The Social Edit.
