Garry Freeman SEND Consultancy

Garry is an independent SEND Consultant, having taught for 43 years in secondary and special schools throughout West Yorkshire in various Senior and Middle Leadership roles.

Garry is and has been instrumental in shaping SEND provision in a wide range of schools, MATs and Local Authorities across England as a Whole-School SEND Reviewer, a National SEND System and project lead for local authority improvement support. He has been an Associate Consultant for Nasen and Chair of their 0-11 Advisory Group. He is highly skilled and experienced in individual school–to–school and MAT support, as well as positive leadership and management of change. He writes extensively for a range of educational publications.
