Make/Shift fosters makers in the process of poiesis: the shift from muse to making.

Make/Shift is a playground for makers. We believe in giving space to the creative process, to allow makers to experiment, and to shift their perspective from what making is to what it can be.

Co-Produced by Lizzy Jarrett, Irene Lazaridis, and Ruthie Ofrasio at This Is AKIN, the Cosmic Cherry Arts Festival is an annual, all-inclusive festival celebrating femininity, queerness, and gender expression featuring the works of dozens of femme, trans and genderqueer artists. Cosmic Cherry blends the magical creative energy our artists bring with a powerful punch of moxie. This festival is meant to make our audiences and artists feel sexy, empowered, and full of cosmic creative energy.
