Bernadine Fox is a trusted facilitator and peer support worker, survivor advocate, and organizer of trauma-informed peer support groups and workshops. With over 30 years of lived experience in mental health advocacy and survivor-led movements, Bernadine creates safe, respectful spaces for connection, healing, and community.
She is the author of Coming to Voice: Surviving an Abusive Therapist and a long-time disability rights activist based in Vancouver, BC. Her work centers around supporting those impacted by trauma, therapy abuse, CPTSD, and disability—helping participants feel seen, heard, and validated.
Bernadine facilitates global peer support circles, professional trainings, and survivor-centered events that encourage authentic dialogue, empowerment, and mutual care. Her groups are welcoming to anyone seeking a judgment-free environment grounded in lived experience, empathy, and real support.
