Geo Britto - Escola de Teatro Popular - Brazil
Geo Britto – Founder and Member of the Coordination of the Popular Theater School (ETP). He worked at the Center for the Theater of the Oppressed (CTO) for 32 years, 20 of which were with Augusto Boal. He has given lectures, workshops, and theatrical presentations in Palestine, Bolivia, Mozambique, Egypt, India, South Africa, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, England, Sweden, Holland, Canada, and the United States. He holds a Master's degree in Arts from UFF and is pursuing a PhD in Theater at USP. He wrote the book AUGUSTO BOAL E A FORMAÇÃO DO TEATRO DO OPRIMIDO (Augusto Boal and the Formation of the Theater of the Oppressed), which won third place in the National Library Award in the Social Essay category - Sergio Buarque de Holanda. He is the father of twins Lorenzo and Jonas
Geraldo Britto Lopes. PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Performing Arts at the University of São Paulo (USP). Master's degree in Contemporary Arts Studies (UFF). Bachelor's degree in Social and Political Sciences from PUC-Rio. He holds a degree in Philosophy and a teaching degree in Theater from the Ítalo Brasileiro University Center.
