Sam Bailey-Price
I deliver fun and inclusive workshops for all ages and abilities in relaxed environments, using a wide range of mediums and processes. My approach draws on my 25-year career as a teacher of Art & Design, Photography, and Textiles across the West of England, where I held leadership roles including Assistant Head, Head of Art, and Faculty Lead.
As a Bristol-based artist, I take inspiration from flora, fauna, and the natural world, working across painting, printmaking, textiles, and photography to celebrate colour, texture, and pattern. A graduate of Fine Art at the University of the West of England, my work has been featured in magazines and on television. I was recently invited by Caerhays Gardens to create a Magnolia-inspired collection for their gift shops.
Alongside my studio practice, I continue to contribute to arts education as an external examiner and assessor, while sharing my passion for creativity through workshops and courses that encourage skill-building, expression, and fun.
I hope to see you at one of my workshops, feel free to get in touch if you wish to to create and deliver a bespoke workshop, private paint and sip or a personalised commission. You can also find me on Facebook 'Curly Red Sam Art' and Instagram 'curly_red_sam_art'
