Viv Dawes Autistic Advocate
Viv Dawes (she,her, they) is a late identified AuDHD and PDA advocate, best selling author, consultant and trainer. Viv has over 30 years experience of working with vulnerable neurodivergent young people and adults, including as a Senior Practitioner in the NHS, where she managed teams of forensic drug workers in prisons. Viv also ran a community based addiction recovery programme for almost 10 years.
Viv delivers training for many organisations including the NHS, education staff, HMP staff and various charities. She also provides support for neurodivergent adults and also for parents of neurodivergent children and young people experiencing burnout. Her books, training webinars and online resources have led to Viv being a leading voice regarding autistic and other neurodivergent burnout.
