The Methodist Home for Children and Youth is a multi-faceted residential care home providing a continuum of specialized treatment programs that address the needs of children that have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. The Methodist Home’s mission seeks to respond to Christ and the Church as we restore childhoods, strengthen families and cultivate a people-building organization. Since 1872, The Methodist Home has exemplified this mission and provided a safe haven and impacted the lives of more than 12,000 children from across the State of Georgia through our operations in Macon, Americus, Valdosta, St. Marys, and Columbus.

 The Methodist Home serves the local communities through Lighthouse for Families Counseling Center and HOPE Foster Care.
