Our Mission

The Inland Counties Mathematics Project (ICMP) focuses on enhancing teacher mathematical and pedagogical content knowledge while developing leadership capacity.

Our Primary Goals

Lead teachers to a deeper understanding of mathematics.

Increase teacher pedagogical knowledge.

Develop a passion for mathematics that is exemplified in teacher practice.

Make mathematics relevant to teachers and, consequently, to their students.

ICMP is committed to supporting students with diverse backgrounds. We aim to meet teachers' content and credentialing needs while addressing the educational needs of students from diverse economic, ethnic, and language backgrounds.

Affiliation

ICMP is a proud site of the California Mathematics Project (CMP). The CMP's goal is to enhance the quality of K-12 mathematics education in California by increasing teachers' mathematical content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge and by developing leadership skills.
