Aintree Circuit Club Events Ltd
Established in 1954 at Aintree Racecourse, following the opening of the Aintree 3 Mile Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit, Aintree Circuit was the world's first track based motor racing club and organised the world's first dedicated circuit test sessions using the Aintree Club Circuit.
The Club went on to organise race meetings on the 1.64 mile and 3 mile Grand Prix tracks at Aintree as well as it's weekly evening test sessions running throughout the Motor racing season April - October.
Following the purchase of the racecourse by The Jockey Club in 1982, we were unable to continue with either our test sessions or motor racing due to safety issues.
