Las Vegas Urban League Early Childhood Connection

The Consumer Education Program at the Las Vegas Urban League develops and offers early childhood education trainings for our Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) and licensed providers of the child care subsidy program. The Child Care Subsidy Program helps qualifying families with the costs of child care. To qualify, the parent(s) must be working or in another activity, and must meet the income guidelines for their household size, based on a sliding fee scale. The LVUL Early Childhood Connection Child Care Resource & Referral program offers support services for families and child care providers, including: helping families locate and understand their child care options, enrolling Family, Friend or Neighbor (FFN) providers with the Child Care Subsidy Program, Conducting annual health and safety home visits with FFN providers, and helping parents and providers advocate for quality early childhood education opportunities for all children.
