Beulah T. Whitby Foundation (BTWF), formerly known as the Alpha Kappa Alpha Foundation of Detroit, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that was established in 1991 to provide service to the community. Its mission statement is as follows: “Beulah T. Whitby Foundation is a voluntary organization that promotes lifelong education, positive health practices, community involvement, and encourages professional and personal growth.”
