Hooked on books from early on via libraries and bookshops. I have enjoyed a career in books, working for publishers, and have written Project Deadhead, with another one due to be launched next month.

It seemed like a good idea to combine some of my loves, books and Christmas, into a fun-packed day with loads of authors, workshops, live interviews, a choir performing, promoting reading for primary school pupils with a competition, and there is much more besides.

Putting book festival has been an absolute pleasure and I hope you enjoy it, too.
