Jan Bell curates 300+ live music events year round at women artist owned and operated small venues, and outdoor stages along the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and the Dumbo Archway.

In 2015 Bell founded The Brooklyn Americana Music Festival (BKAMF) curating 70% women identified and LGBTQ artists - both emerging and more established.

BKAMF was voted Best of Brooklyn (Empire State Awards) Best Outdoor Music event 2023.

Funding from NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs, NY State Council on the Arts, Brooklyn Arts Council, and discretionary funding from the office of councilman Lincoln Restler.
