Serving 202 Catholic schools across London, Hertfordshire, and parts of Surrey, the Diocese of Westminster Education Service provides advice, support, and training to ensure schools flourish in accordance with the Trust Deed of the Diocese.

Our events include online and in-person courses, day conferences, residential conferences, and a wide range of CPD opportunities throughout the academic year. These events are designed to support school leaders, teachers, governors, and staff across a broad range of areas, including Religious Education, Catholic Life, curriculum development, governance, recruitment, admissions, and capital and academy projects.

Our schools are vital to the mission of the Church. Through collaboration and formation, we aim to ensure that Catholic education continues to thrive and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed to future generations.

Refund Policy - Residential Conferences

The Diocese of Westminster Education Service aims to keep training accessible while meeting the fixed costs associated with events, courses and conferences.

Online Training (Live or On-Demand)

• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled session will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees).
• Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled session are non-refundable.

Day Courses (Non-Residential)

• Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees, where applicable).
• Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the event are non-refundable.

Residential Conferences

• Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees, where applicable).
• Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.

Refunds cannot be issued for:

• Non-attendance
• Early departure
• Failure to arrive on the scheduled date

In exceptional or pastoral circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the discretion of the Diocese of Westminster Education Service. Where possible, substitutions from the same school or academy trust may be accepted in place of cancellations.
