The Institute for Local Self-Reliance is a national nonprofit research and advocacy organization that partners with allies across the country to build an American economy driven by local priorities and accountable to people and the planet. We focus on key sectors such as energy, retail business, waste and recycling, and community broadband. We host a wide range of events including workshops, networking opportunities, and forums and conferences.
