IWB - Immigrant Women In Business
Established in 2017, IWB is a non-profit organization bringing together women from over 80 different countries around the globe, in Canada. IWB is a community built by immigrants, for immigrants.
We have established solid and long-term partnerships with various companies, government entities, and training and education institutions, fostering the development of immigrant women to grow personally and professionally, and enabling them to pursue economic opportunities. Our aim is to support all immigrant women in developing the skills necessary to succeed in their lives in Canada and teach immigrants how to network, connect with mentors, seek out opportunities for collaboration, and to foster their personal and professional development.
At IWB, we recognize the critical importance of financial inclusion and education in enabling underserved immigrant women to achieve economic self-sufficiency and success. These women often face significant barriers to accessing financial resources, services, and education, perpetuating cycles of poverty and marginalization. Through our work, we strive to break down these barriers and create pathways to economic empowerment for immigrant women and their families.
