Leona's Sewing Studio launched the Future Designers of America Program in 2014. The core mission of Leona's Sewing Studio is to "Teach America To Sew". The purpose of the Future Designers of America (FDOA) Program is to inspire and motivate children to enjoy the art of sewing individually and collectively. We aim to provide a valuable life skill for the present time in each of their lives as well as for the future. To date we have seven (7) future designers that are on the way to higher learning in the fashion industry. They can be found using their creative browses at Stevenson University, North Carolina A&T and the University of Maryland to name a few. We are proud of the program!
