Milton Escarpment Toastmasters Club (METM) is a chapter of Toastmasters International, a recognized non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to become effective public speakers worldwide.

What to expect when you join a Toastmasters Club:

• Ability to complete projects outlined in the Toastmasters Pathways education system at your own pace

• Members present prepared speeches on topics of one’s own choosing and complete various leadership-driven projects

• Mentoring from an experienced fellow Toastmaster

• During weekly meetings, members can volunteer for leadership roles, such as Toastmaster, Timer, Grammarian, Quiz Master, to name a few

• Table Topics offers all members an opportunity to practice impromptu speaking with fun, thought-provoking questions prepared by the evening’s Table Topics Master

• Networking with a friendly and supportive group of people who want you to succeed

We are a small club, but steadily growing. New members are always welcome. If you’re new to Toastmasters, you can register for a free meeting to see how meetings are run and what to expect. Come out and visit us and meet our fun and friendly group. Our Club meets every Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
