Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC), DBA My Way Home, adopted this new name in 2025 to better reflect our mission of helping families find their path to homeownership.

Co-founded in 2001 by Bertha Garcia and the late Rodney Fernandez, a dedicated housing advocate, My Way Home was created to strengthen and sustain prosperous communities through homebuyer and homeowner education, counseling, and mortgage loans. With a dedicated team, My Way Home provides comprehensive support at every stage of homeownership, from education and counseling to mortgage lending, down payment assistance, and ongoing guidance after purchase. Our goal is to help families improve their economic well-being, build financial confidence, and strengthen communities for generations to come.
