Hi, I'm Kayliegh. Founder and head coach of Realskate Northwest. My purpose is to encourage and teach safe skateboarding practices so you can rest easy when your children head down to the skate park. As a parent I try to encourage as much physical activity outdoors as we reasonably can. I qualified to coach in 2019 and have skateboarded at beginner - intermediate levels sine 2007. Skateboarding requires use of the entire body and has proven to have multiple physiological and psychological benefits. I skate for leisure, fun and travel however coaching brings in many different aspirations for children of all ages.

As a member of SBGB I am qualified, insured, DBS Checked, first aid trained and have completed safeguarding in sport. Groups are from the age of 6+.

Coaching plans are available for young sports people that would like to really improve their athletic ability, confidence, balance, technique, board manipulation and a variety of other principles. We have great people around us that will always assist with positive peer support and encourage practice and patience.
