The Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation, Inc. (SAHP), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to “Preserve and enhance our historic places through advocacy, education, technical and financial support, and celebration.” We were founded in 1985 by citizens  who are passionate about historic preservation.

 SAHP & its members help inspire and educate the community by hosting events, tours, and lectures. SAHP promotes greater awareness of the invaluable historic aspects of our community and encourage vigilance for threatened historic architecture
