The Wyvern Institute is a Registered Training Establishment (RTE) in Bristol, the heart of Wessex. We offer advanced training in psychotherapy and therapeutic counselling, focussing largely, but not exclusively, on the theories, models and methods of Transactional Analysis.

We also learn about approaches using insights and elements from Cognitive-Behavioural, Relational, Rogerian, Gestalt, Object Relations and Self-Psychology modalities. Our Transactional Analysis training courses are suitable for every stage of our students’ learning journey, from foundation courses through to advanced psychotherapy courses. We welcome neurodivergent students and seek to accommodate all styles of learning.
