The University of California Master Food Preserver Online Delivery Program offers free, research-based classes on safe home food preservation. Our trained volunteers demonstrate approved recipes and techniques for canning, freezing, drying, fermenting, and more. We offer these classes to encourage healthy and seasonal eating, reduce food waste, and increase food security. This online program is supported by a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant, with the goal of expanding access to trustworthy food preservation education to all California counties.
