We care for the University's archives, rare books and museums. While the core of the collections reflects the five centuries of the University in its region, the collections have grown through the research of staff and the collecting activities of graduates and friends. The resulting collection spans Scottish history and archaeology, the natural, medical and physical sciences, and World Culture. The entire museum collection has been Recognised as Nationally Significant Collection by the Scottish Government.

Our venues include the Zoology Museum and the Gallery in the Sir Duncan Rice Library on the Old Aberdeen campus.
