VEGA Project Team - McMaster University

The VEGA Project Team is comprised of health and social service professionals, scholars, and advocates who are committed to improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities who experience family violence; this includes children, youth, and adults affected by child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, and childhood exposure to intimate partner violence. One of the primary ways in which the VEGA Project supports this goal is by developing, updating, and disseminating evidence-informed practice guidance and educational resources that can assist health care and social service professionals to safely recognize family violence in their practice encounters, as well as respond with care, compassion, and effectiveness. More information about the VEGA Project and its associated VEGA Family Violence Education Resources can be found at https://vegaproject.mcmaster.ca.
